Adding remote start function to Ranger Raptor made in Thailand

My Ranger Raptor from Thailand came with a 4 button key fob, I purchased a 5 button key fob from AliExpress that has the remote start button (2x). I programmed the new fob and all the buttons work except the one for the remote start. I also noticed that there is no remote start option in the vehicle settings.

Is it that my Ranger doesn't have the capability or does that function have to be enabled some other way.

Your ranger should have a remote start in the ford pass app on your phone. You would need to install the ford command start module for the key fob to work.

I did and that's all I'm getting

1. Download the FordPass app from the App 2.Store or Google Play
3.Log in or create an account
4.Add your vehicle by scanning the VIN or typing it in
5.Name your vehicle
6.Activate your vehicle
7.Go to the Vehicle screen
8.Select the Scheduled Start tile
9.Tap Add Start
10.Select a time
11.Choose the days you want your vehicle to start
12.Select a time zone
13.Tap Save


I f those steps don't work, i'd contact Ford directly and ask why it's not working. They will guide you on the steps to take.
