Any dealership I've spoken with seems to be under the impression that trucks will start arriving in April. Sounds like a classic April Fool's Day joke in the making.

I was originally scheduled for March 4th, which has now been bumped to March 11th. Ranger XL.

I was in the process of placing a second Ranger order with Mullinax Ford in Apopka, FL to see which would come in first; my salesman was completely incompetent in all respects and I told him to cancel my order. Disappointed in this dealership.

That sounds about right. For all the waiting so many people experienced from start to finish when ordering a 2022 Maverick, every detail of how-to information was discussed. I don't seem to see that as much on this forum. May be time for a change...

After checking emails last night, I realized that the March 4th build date was for the 2024 AWD Maverick that I canceled, and the March 11th build date is in fact for my Ranger. I already told the dealer to just cancel/keep the Maverick.

No sooner did I get the text message that production would start on March 4th, I received a second text an hour later stating that production would start March 11th. :rolleyes:

Well, ok then! Placed ordered on 1/16 and received a text from Ford that production of my XL will start on March 4th. Let the waiting begin!
