I fit the Overhaul HD to my Tonneau on Friday and it's a really straight-forward install. I had the Baseline/JetStream setup from my 5G Ranger and the 6G uses the same fit kit. Here is the fit from Yakima.
I hadn't bothered with installing it, but got it out, so that I could figure out the...
I missed the folding headrests in the rear of my 5G SuperCab, so I asked around to see if they would fit in my new truck. I found a set on eBay and they they're a direct fit. For an XLT with the dark cloth interior, the part number is MB3Z21611A08CC.
Anyone else have this message pop up randomly at startup? It'll do this every so often and I don't have a trailer connected. Nothing is plugged in at all. When I actually tow, it shows the name of my trailer to double check that I want to use my Aluma 548 and the drivers display tells me I have...
This is my second Ranger in a row. There are a few Ford thing that weren't obvious to me on my 5G, and that I saw people explaining on the 5G forum. I figured this might be a good place to list those things that apply to the 6G.
I'll mention this:
1. When in drive, if you press the + on your...
The owners manual mentions global windows, and I've seen a windows option in the infotainment menus during some of the reviews. Can the windows on the 6G be opened with the fob? I'll definitely check when mine arrives, but was curious if anyone had tried it out.
I fairly certain that my truck has been built. It has active modules, has a tear tag number, and shows up in my FordPass App as a vehicle I could activate if I were in it. So why send this?
If it's sitting, so they can do quality checks, then just say so. The next part talks about how they...

It's available on the same Ford site where you can see your owner's manual as well.

If you have a VIN and input it on this MotorCraft Service Site, it has instructions for many, but not all of the accessories on the ford site.
edit: No VIN needed. Just punch in year and model.
After logging into Ford and adding the VIN they sent me, one of the options was accessories. I was curious, so I explored and there are actually listings for the '24: Retrax retractable covers, RSI smart caps, etc.
I hadn't seen it here, so I thought I'd post.
I know the 6G is 2" wider than the 5G, but wondered if that meant that the bed rails are farther apart. On my 5G they are 55 1/2 inches (141 cm).
I'm wondering if I could use my crossover toolbox with a Thule ladder rack on a 6G. The bed rails would only need to be about 1 inch (wider 2.54cm)...
