Got the 2024 Ranger 2wd coilovers installed today, did get Superpro UCA's and was probably a good idea to install them. So I backed off 2 rotations on preload from the 105mm factory and it's 102mm after the 2 rotations so seems like roughly 1.5mm per turn. Glad I backed them off because after...
Got them installed today, seem well made. Probably twice the weight of the OEM arms so I would think they are stronger? The associate on the phone said the joint had a grease fitting but just like the product photo shows, there is no grease fitting. Not sure if some of their arms do but not all...
To call these vents is a big stretch I think, there is really no air flow involved with them and they could be airtight with probably no issues. I've removed and installed my STX ones twice and they are both solid and easy to remove. I removed the stick on chrome letters on mine and did a custom...
Here's the wrench part that is specified in the D4353 manual- SPANER WRENCH ETCO2.0
I wasn't sure if it was a redesign because I read people were breaking them, but maybe it's an older design. Apparently they make a stronger billet version to be used with a cheater/breaker bar
Thanks for the update, I did talk with Eibach yesterday and from what I understood some of the 2WD kits are waiting on the included wrench (with part number, not sure if it's a changed design) to be stocked apparently which could happen Friday. The front install manual PDF wasn't working on the...
Yes the heating question was answered above, I typically wear driving gloves if needed for warmth, old school..but yeah that looks like a finely finished product and a very clean install. I hope to see much more of these type of high quality products in the future. Good things!
I would guess that clockwise and/or the higher number if shown would increase the compression with the dial but not sure, that is interesting regarding the OEM coil. Yes I will keep a look out
Someone said the stock setup was pretty soft so I'm not sure about any difference in preload with the stock spring on these rancho units or if that would even be a factor...
I appreciate it greatly, I did talk with AT as well and I was told they at least guarantee fitment with regard to the purchase. It's just quite a task for me to do, and I would like to have as much info as I can get. I can say the gorancho.com dealer/installer list is pretty much not maintained...
Hopefully you can reach out to them with your thoughtful feedback and get a response. If they are willing to improve that's something I'm interested in, because I'm not going to deal with the OEM option high price... Can't swing that
Hi Gary, Yeah I read up on that prior to scoring the new mat set and really I haven't fully tested how secure they are in front, passenger I'm not really worried about that, driver I'll need to test for how secure they are and go from there if I need to mod. Really this was my only/best option...
