Aeroskin door window deflectors (low profile) installed on my 2024 Ranger

I just finished installing the low profile Aeroskin door window deflectors, next is the Aeroskin hood protector. Never had one that was tape only and didn’t actually wrap around the leading edge of the hood. Anyone have close up pictures of one already installed ?
Will they stay on in a non-brushless car wash?

The tape that is generally used for those types of guards is semi-permanent. You will rip the inner foam tape layer before you separate the plastic or car from the tape as long as its applied well. If you do decide to remove them later, youll want to have a heat gun and goo gone and a razer. If you attempt to pull them off, and the tape doesn't split it self, it will remove paint or damage other pieces.

my previous truck had plastic molding on the doors and the tape eventually separated from the plastic. when i removed them, used a 3m eraser wheel to remove the residue with no damage to the paint.

the lund hood deflector held up over time, but got chalky from the sun.

I have the hood protector sitting in my garage but am afraid to install due to worry about how it will hold up to the car wash.

I had the AeroskinII on my Bronco and Bronco Raptor. Never had any issues in the high pressure touch free wash. I did put PPF under it though but that was just in case I wanted to remove.

I put mine on a couple weeks ago and it’s holding up pretty well. The paint priming kit it comes with makes it feel like it may never come off.

I have the Lund/Ford protector with deflector along with the Ford Wind Deflectors. They are solid and well made. Utilizes tap as well but is extremely well attached.

I have the low profile door window deflectors, put them on 2 days ago. No problem in a “full contact “ car wash. There aren’t any brushless washes near me. $26 a month for as many washes as you want. During heavy pollen season I have gone through and gone back through again.

I have a membership at a ‘soft cloth’ type car wash. It’s not touch free

They're built into the grille and unfortunately the link to the grille doesn't exist anymore.
